  Neeltje Gerritse Van Cowenhoven, daughter of Gerrit Wolfertse Van Cowenhoven, was the first wife of Roelof Martense Schenck. They married in 1660. She was the mother of six of Roelof's chidlren, and she died about 1674. THE VAN VOORHEES FAMILY IN AMERICA, The First Six Generations, compiled and edited by Florence A.
