Family Genealogy is about the interweaving of events and people. Our History. It is about ordinary people and how events influenced them. Why they did what they did or went where they went.... and on occasions how they influenced events.

This site includes family members who have been a part of many events of America and Europe. In Europe, this includes Kings and Queens and leaders from Scotland, England and France. In America, this includes people from Jamestown and the Mayflower. It includes family from Fort Orange, Boston, Charlestown, and the surroundings of Maryland when they were still a small settlements. It includes framers of our Constitution.

But it also includes thousands of individuals who led their families, toiled the fields, owned the shops, built the towns and cities and who together built the richa heritage that we know today. As long as we don’t forget.

This site is presented with the hopes of preserving the memories of our ancestors. Many we know about, and many we will never know because of records being destroyed by fire, flood, and other disasters. They have made possible the way we live today. We owe them our gratitude and an interest in truly understanding their experiences.
