Notes
Ithel or Idwal ap Morgan was a king of Gwent and Glywysing (i.e., Morga n n w g ) i n southeastern Wales.
His father was Morgan the Generous, the probable namesake of the later r e a l m o f M organnwg (whence modern Glamorgan).[1] Ithel seems to have inh e r i t e d his father's realm intact, but then divided it among his many so n s : F f e rnfael in Gwent and Rhys, Rhodri, and Meurig in parts of Glywysi n g .
