  • Notes 
    • Isaiah Bird appears on the resident tax lists of Monroe Co., AL in 1816. At that time Monroe Co. covered a huge area adjacent to Clarke Co. from which Dallas and Cahaba Counties emerged. Perry Co. was not formed until December, 1819, sitting between Dallas Co. to the south and Cahaba Co. (now extinct) to the north. It seems likely that the Isaiah Byrd, married 1816 in Madison Co., moved to Monroe Co. adjacent to Clarke Co. by 1816, where William Byrd (a relative?) was residing (Clarke Co. tax list, 1816).
