Hobart (“Bart”) K. Robinson Jr. died peacefully in Ponte Vedra Beach, on Jan. 25, 2023 with his family by his side. He was born on Oct. 10, 1937 in Quincy, MA to Charlotte Robinson and Hobart K. Robinson Sr. Bart was a talented three sport athlete at Quincy High School, and as a point guard played in the state final at the Garden during the ‘54-’55 season. He earned his BA from Williams College, served in the Navy, and earned his MBA from Columbia. He and Ingela married in 1964, and had three children, Steven, Karina, and Peter. Bart spent the majority of his career with McKinsey & Co. in NYC, Copenhagen, and Stockholm. He retired in 1998, splitting time between Williamstown, MA and Ponte Vedra Beach, where he and Ingela wore out a lot of golf shoes and together sang in choir and he in barbershop. He will be remembered for his competitive spirit, warm heart, and his storytelling of a life well lived. Bart is survived by Ingela, their children Steven, Karina, Peter, and their spouses Dana, Paul, and Liz, six grandchildren, and his sister Karla Dunham. A celebration of life will be held in Quincy on Feb. 4 for friends and family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Transplant Foundation.
