He was born on December 10. 1914, in Nelson County, Kentucky, the son of Charles G. Stiles and Susan Coakley. He was a farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Priscilla Ann Abell Stiles on March 23, 1970. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Betty Sue Easley of St. Louis, Mo.; one son John W. Stiles of Lebanon, one half-brother, Ed Blakeman of Frankfort, and seven grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. at Bosley Funeral Home with burial in the St. Francis Xavier Church cemetery. Rev. Thomas Caldwell officiated. Pallbearers were Joe, Ricky, Billy Dowling, Charlie Adams, Charles David Stiles, and Walter Abell III.
