- Reverand, /vicar of St. Chads. As vicar/curate of St. Chad's he succeeded John Marshall, who was ejected on the accession of Queen Elizabeth in 1558 for refusing burial in his church to Mr. Burton of Longnor. He died of Plague in 1576. After his decease it was said he was a "preacher of God's word in Salop." Information from Genealogies of Long Island Families, Vol Ip.478.
